Maria Vona
Holds a MS degree in Architecture Heritage Preservation and Enhancement at Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo), where she is currently a PhD candidate in “Architectural and Landscape Heritage”, under the supervision of Professor Rosa Tamborrino. She works as a teaching assistant of the Atelier course “Ri-Abitare le Alpi”, for the module “History of Architecture” with Professor Cristina Cuneo. Her research work focuses on the spatial and social transformation of the old Valencia’s district “Velluters”, between the end of 18th and first half of 19th century, and the construction of “silk heritage” inside this urban space.
