Bianca Maria Rinaldi
Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at Politecnico di Torino. She has held teaching positions as an Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture and Design at Ascoli Piceno, University of Camerino, Italy, at the Institute for Architecture and Landscape, School of Architecture, Graz University of Technology in Graz, Austria, and at the Institute for Landscape Architecture, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna, Austria. She has been a Visiting Senior Fellow at the School of Design and Environment of the National University of Singapore and a Visiting Scientist at the Leibniz University of Hanover. Her research is at the intersection of landscape architecture history, theory, and design. Bianca’s work has been supported with fellowships from Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection in Washington DC and the Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation. She served as co-editor of the peer reviews academic JoLA-Journal of Landscape Architecture and currently serves as a member of the journal’s editorial board and as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Center for Garden Art and Landscape Architecture (CGL) of the Leibniz University of Hanover. At the Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning (DIST) she serves as a member of the research committee.
